DoiT Insights now surfaces Security & Cost Optimization recommendations from AWS Trusted Advisor, allowing you to view all your recommendations — both DoiT-generated (automated + via DoiT experts) and Trusted Advisor-generated — from the DoiT console.

To view your Trusted Advisor recommendations, you will need to link any AWS accounts with AWS Business Support and above to the DoiT console. When going to your Insights main page you will see a banner highlighting that you have AWS accounts eligible for Trusted Advisor-generated insights:

Click on Add permissions and you will be directed to the account setup page filtered to the right accounts.

Following this release, which focuses on the Cost Optimization and Security check categories, we’ll continue to work on incorporating the rest of the check categories (ex. Performance) into DoiT Insights.

Note: Trusted Advisor recommendations are only available for resources in AWS accounts with AWS Business Support and above.
