Unifying Cloud and Operational Costs: Introducing DataHub
We are excited to introduce DataHub, a powerful new capability in DoiT Cloud Navigator that enables you to see all of the expenses that impact your business through a single pane of glass and accurately attribute them to teams, products, environments, or any other business-specific categories.
DataHub – now available for customers with a Premium subscription to Cloud Navigator – enables you to integrate and manage costs beyond your Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud expenses. Simply use the DataHub API to send any arbitrary data, including cost data, business metrics, or events. This new data becomes accessible across all Cloud Navigator features including reports, dashboards, attributions, and attribution groups.
Starting with an API-first approach, we will quickly expand to offer additional ways to import your data into DoiT Cloud Navigator. Future enhancements will include integrating Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, uploads from storage buckets, and connectors to your BI systems. Additionally, we will help you identify anomalies in your data, similar to how we handle public cloud cost anomalies.
DataHub is part of a broader initiative that unlocks numerous additional capabilities, including Cloud Unit Economics. Imagine tracking your cost per business transaction, tailored to your specific business model—whether it’s cost per ride for Uber or cost per ad impression for an ad company. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
